The eScrip program is a fundraising program that allows participating merchants to contribute a percentage of your grocery loyalty cards, credit card, and debit/ATM card purchases to the school or organization of your choice. Paper-based fundraising programs have become a proven benefit to schools, churches, organizations, and to all the children involved with these participating organizations. The eScrip program brings an unprecedented ease of use and many other advantages to fundraising programs. The eScrip program streamlines the whole fundraising process and puts everyone -- the organization, the kids, their parents, and the community -- in the winner's circle.
To use the program, you simply register your existing grocery loyalty cards (Safeway),
VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, diners Club, debit/ATM cards and merchant
cards and use them every time you shop. These merchants have agreed to donate a percentage
of your expenditures to Desert Mountain Elementary.
Safeway’s 2009 Back to School Program starts August 12th and runs through September 15th. All registered eScrip participants that shop Safeway during these dates earn Desert Mountain Elementary 10% on participating items!
Other merchants participating include: Claim Jumper, Macy’s, The Tribune, Eddie Bauer, and many more! There are also numerous online shopping opportunities available at www.eScrip.com that will also raise funds for the school.

Companies throughout the country need these empties in order to refill them and sell them as remanufactured cartridges. Mrs. Whittleton collects empty cartridges to recycle and returns them for money and free supplies. Click here for more about the program, and for lists of qualifying products.
